After a misdiagnosis in August, Sandi took Dave to the ER on 9/10/2024 where he was shockingly diagnosed with a very rare, very aggressive form of cancer that developed in just a few short weeks. The small cell carcinoma (originating in the prostate) has already spread throughout his body and chemotherapy has just begun. They have great hope in the Lord, their medical team, and the love of family and friends. But the out-of-pocket expenses of fighting this battle are enormous, and are compounded by Dave's inability to work for quite some time.
