Help Ease the Journey for Syeed's Homecoming

My son, Syeed, fought very hard and his team of doctors and nurses worked around the clock but he lost his battle. I will be returning to California to bring my baby home in the next couple of weeks. This has been a very costly journey given he was out of state as I had to become a temporary resident while he was on life support, as well as staying behind to handle necessary business with the State of California.

Thank you for all your prayers and for reaching out to offer support. We are very grateful to have such a supportive tribe. This new world without my baby is foreign and I am not sure I will ever fully accept this new norm. The loss is indescribable but having my family, community and tribe to lean on has been literally a lifeline.

Thank you for everything and for your patience as we work on arrangements. We anticipate having him home within 2 weeks, and a memorial service within 3 weeks.
