Help Ease the Financial Burden of My Transplant

UPDATE! ON 4/26/2025 I I went down to Litchfield causey friend is helping me fundraise well I was admitted in the hospital with peritonitis and that is a deadly infection in the body. On 4/27/2025 I was transferred to the Bemidji hospital cause that is werey kidney Dr is and kidney Dr. He said that he has to take out the catheter because it quit. Working. He is going to put in a hemo port in which I am not happy cause they only work for about a month. I'm going to try and set up an appointment with a surgeon down at the u of m.

Here is my story. When I went home, I was unable to talk. I learned that my kidneys are no longer working. I've been on dialysis for four years and two months. My doctor advised me to find a living donor or a deceased donor. I have O-negative blood and can accept any O type blood. My doctor told me that a person on dialysis as much as I am it can make were the diaphragm doesn't work as well. I'm in a real financial strap as I can't afford all my medical expenses traveling to Mayo and University of Minnesota the lodging meals and some of the medical bills that I am getting .So if are able to help a little bit it would greatly be appreciated as the whole transplant is very very exspensive. So I'm asking for help with the medical expenses.

Well today is June 13,2025

In the last five weeks I have had three surgeries to replace my catheter. I ended up in the hospital for a little over a week with perrinittis and they had to remove my catheter cause I was full of infection. I was put on three different antibiotics. I had to have my catheter out and they had put in a hemo port. Needless to say that port lasted about a month and then my body spot it out cause my body doesn't like them so they had put in a new catheter and that one lasted about a week cause someone had flushed it to hard and it caused damage so it had to be removed and they put in a new one and so far that one is working. The surgeon said that inside my belly was full of scar tissue and he could not believe how fast it is growing so not sure if there will ever be another catheter put in it something goes wrong with the one I have. So I am in need of a kidney transplant plant soon cause it is a good possibility that I won't be able to do dialysis if my catheter goes. Hemo is not a good choice cause my body reacts to it.

If anyone would like to donate a kidney I am o blood type and I am going through the University of Minnesota and Mayo in Rochester.

I am also fundraising to help defray medical expenses and that includes hotel travel and food and what insurance does not cover.
