Help Ease the Financial Burden of Carly's Surgery
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Josie and I'm fundraising for my college roommate and best friend Carly. On August 14, 2023, Carly went cliff jumping with friends and sustained a serious injury that left her with a compressed spine, necessitating a complex and costly back surgery that will involve the placement of metal rods to ensure her mobility and well-being.
Carly's strength and resilience have always been major attributes of hers, but now she faces a tough road to recovery that will test her endurance in unimaginable ways. The accident has already led to multiple hospital overnight stays and an ambulance ride, which have taken a significant toll on her physically, emotionally, and financially. As her friends, we are determined to rally around her and provide the support she needs to overcome this immense obstacle.
Carly is one of the most kind, generous, and selfless people I know. Throughout her life, she has demonstrated an unwavering willingness to help others, even in the face of her own challenges. She has already battled through so much adversity, and it breaks my heart to see her endure yet another hardship.
This is why I am launching this GoFundMe campaign on her behalf —to help alleviate the financial burden that comes with the high costs of medical treatments, hospital stays, surgeries, and the recovery that Carly needs. Your contributions will directly support her journey towards regaining her mobility, as every dollar raised will go towards covering medical expenses and aiding Carly during her recovery phase.
I understand that times are challenging for everyone, and any support you can provide will make a profound difference. Whether you're able to contribute financially or by simply sharing this campaign with your network, your actions will have a positive impact on Carly's recovery.
Thank you for your consideration, your generosity, and your support!
With so much gratitude,
Josie
