In loving memory of Sameer and Mustafa

Hi, my name is Hina. I am Sameer and Mustafa's eldest cousin.

On May 15, 2025, our beloved Sameer and Mustafa (brothers) tragically lost their lives in a devastating car accident on their way home from our cousin's graduation. Sameer and Mustafa were more than just cousins; they were like my younger brothers. Over the past few days, our family has had the honor of organizing their funerals and supporting each other through this unimaginable grief. Over 1000 people attended their funeral which speaks volumes about the love they inspired and the light they brought to those around them.

We watched our aunt and uncle bury two of their three kids. It has been one of the most heartbreaking experiences of our lives. No parents should ever have to endure such profound loss.

What makes this even more difficult is the hardship this family has already endured. Since then, he has lived with lasting effects that continue to challenge his daily life. Through resilience and unwavering love, our aunt has cared for him and held the family together during incredibly difficult times. The loss of two sons adds an unimaginable weight to a family that has already been through so much.

While the family is not requesting donations, many have reached out asking how they can help. I’ve set up this GoFundMe for those who would like to contribute in place of sending flowers, food, or fruit.

All funds will go directly to the family to help ease this time for them, allow them the space to grieve, and support them in their healing process. I have permission to place this GoFundMe. This is the only GoFundMe we have aside from a Zelle number that Kabeer's friend Molana Mustafa organized initially.
