Samiir Smith’s gofundme for our grieving mother.

My name is Ashura, and last night my baby brother Samiir Smith ( well.. not so baby.. he was 19. But he was the baby to us ) was murdered two doors down from where my family lived. It wasn’t exactly the best neighborhood, but it was what they could afford. Upon learning this news, my extremely heartbroken mom was let known by the landlord that she had to be out by the 1st of the month due to the landlord selling the property. Now my family, who can’t even get into their home as it’s currently a crime scene in a row of apartments, need to immediately move out along with plan a proper going away for my 19 year old brother. My mother is never the type to ask for help, and my siblings and I are rallying together all we can to ease the financial burden on her, but these next weeks we take off to grieve will be the ones to set us back. We want prayers for our family more than anything, but we would love to help our mother transition into a better neighborhood and not have to stress about where she and our 7 year old brother will lay their heads safely at night. She already has to bury her baby boy. Any donations would be so greatly appreciated. If you know my mom you know that she is more than deserving of everything great in life, and my heart aches for the pain we are all going through. No child should ever leave this earth before their parent.
