Help Ease the Burden for Lauren's Loved Ones
Donation protected
Lauren, a cherished dear friend to so many near and far, a devoted mother and dedicated wife, has left this worldly place to find peace in her transition to eternal paradise.
Lauren fell ill and was rushed to the ER Saturday night. Her health took a very rapid turn for the worse. Lauren's body went into septic shock; she had ketoacidosis and an infection that attacked her immune system response.
The nurses and doctors did all they could to restore Lauren whole, but she had multiple organ failures.
Lauren fought one hell of a fight as only she could do, but she succumbed to her illness in just a matter of 3 days from being admitted to Lahey Burlington Hospital.
All that know Lauren know that she has touched someone's life in some way. Lauren was a champion in advocating for disenfranchised people, tirelessly advocating for disability rights, civil rights, women's rights and humanitarian causes; there was nothing she wouldn't stand up for. Lauren, a true frontline activist.
Anthony (AJ), her 14 year old son, and Stephen need us now in this phase of grief. The financial need is of the utmost concern.
Loss often comes in memorable times, like this holiday season. Nothing can ever replace the light that Lauren was, but helping ease the financial burden for medical bills, celebration of life, nourishment, and holiday relief would help lift the family up.
Let's rally around Lauren for her family, just as she would for any one of us
