Help Ease the Burden for Chris and Dave Knese

In 2023, Chris Knese began her courageous battle with cancer. Cancer is cruel. Cancer is not kind. Over the past few years, Chris has faced this disease with incredible strength and grace, enduring countless treatments, chemo, and radiation. Through it all, she has remained a fighter — determined, hopeful, and full of love for those around her.

But even the strongest among us cannot fight forever. As Chris prepares to say goodbye to her husband Dave, her daughter Kelly and her partner Katelyn, and her family and friends, we want to help ease the heavy financial burden that comes with both cancer treatment and end-of-life care.

Chris will leave behind her loving husband of almost 48 years, Dave. It’s deeply important to her family and friends that before she leaves, she knows Dave will not have to face overwhelming medical bills or financial strain while mourning the loss of his wife and best friend.

Neither Chris nor Dave know about this fundraiser. They have always been the helpers — the first to offer support, lend a hand, and show up when others were in need. Now, it’s our turn to show up for them.

There are no words that can take away the pain cancer leaves behind. But we can help lighten the load by easing the financial stress left in its wake.
