We shall celebrate my father's life with exciting Joy Thursday July 18th 2024@abundant Life Church viewing starting at 11:00 a.m. followed by 12:00 noon service. I will see you all there that love my father and once again I truly appreciate you all! Thank you I am forever grateful ️✨

7/8/2024 Update.... I've been getting word that the dollar amount that I have set from my father on GoFundMe stings at first glance. Please understand, under the circumstances and timing, the amount posted was simply a projected goal of mine to handle funeral expenses, that I was unsure would amount to, at the time of creating this GoFundMe. And it is a legit fundraiser I am raising for my father who does not have life insurance, leaving all of his financial burdens to me.

As of today I have learned that the total expenses are little under $6K with Nelson's Memorial Gardens... Thank God for Jesus, I honestly was expecting well over 11 Grand alone. The remaining funds, as some may know that my father made big man purchases (I do share my father's sense of humor) over recent years, two of which being his beautiful condo and his Honda (as picture) which he bought (the car) while in remission in hopes of having an extended amount of time with his beloved friends and family. He frequently drove across the highways to visit with family and his hometown of Joliet Illinois and was spending a lot of money on rental cars so he thought it'd be best to purchase a car. I had no idea it was going to be a brand new car off the lot, so I hope it helps break down the dollar amount.

I absolutely do not expect to receive the full $30K believe me I know tough times, however ANY collected amount donated will be used to assist me with my father's final arrangements. Each of you are very much appreciated. I pray the Lord blesses the hands of those who even desires to give but could not at this time, just know your prayers are accepted and very appreciated too, that's LOVE!

On Saturday, July 6th, Carl Johnson went on to Glory, at the adult age of 61 years. It is with a very heavy heart that we share this devastating news. He was a loving grandfather, father, brother, uncle, and friend to all who were blessed to know him. Carl was a man with the biggest heart, and always serving others selflessly, with immense love and compassion. His kindness and service touched countless lives. He loved deeply, and it was obvious by his actions towards others. His laugh could bring joy to anyone, and he'd drop anything at a moment’s notice to help someone in need.

He battled long enough with stage 4 pancreatic cancer that had passed onto his liver that ultimately led to his untimely passing. Despite his own difficult struggles, he was always worried about others, their struggles and needs. He leaves behind myself, his beloved daughter Andrea (Lloyd), his four grandchildren: Leilani (18), Makaia (14), Lloyd Z. aka Mr. Man (11) and Liam (9), his beloved siblings: Angela (Bernard), Savannah Ann, Wongie, as well as his nieces and nephews all of whom he cared for as if they all were his own…all who he loves with his whole heart and soul!

He will be our Forever Guardian Angel, watching over each of us. My Dad have always been one to serve and support at his local church home, Abundant Life Church, Fort Wayne, IN. This church loves my father so very much and I am so proud that he sought solace in his religion while overcoming life challenges there. Now, in this heartbreaking and devastating time, We are faced with the unimaginable challenges of managing funeral expenses and arrangements. Currently, we are asking for you to help us ease some of the financial burdens that we now face with this sudden tragedy. We would deeply appreciate any financial contribution that you can make. We know that there are many people who may want to help, and this is the perfect way to show your love and support on our behalf. This will allow me, Andrea, and my family to focus on grieving and caring for one another without the added worry of the financial strain that can be such a heavy burden.

Carl’s legacy of love and compassion is something that we can all honor by coming together to support his dearest family. Let’s all return the immense love Carl has shown to all of us throughout his 61 years of life by helping the Johnson family during this incredibly difficult time.
