Help Ease Susan's ALS Journey
Donation protected
As most of you already know, our sister, Susan Sheare Dulski, was given her second diagnosis of Bulbar ALS. We were holding out for a misdiagnosis, but it was not what we received. It is an extremely challenging time for our family. Susan is being treated with medication to help slow the progression of the symptoms. She has lost her ability to speak and is experiencing a tough time eating and swallowing. She has been out of work for months.
Susan means the world to us and is a nurse who has always enjoyed helping others. We'd like to pay it forward and reduce as much financial stress as possible. This disease has no cure. Susan accepts this fact, and it would be so much nicer if she did not have to stress over her bills. The diagnosis caused her to lose her job, her health insurance, and her life insurance. She has applied for benefits but still hasn't received any.
Your donations will directly support Susan's ongoing medical needs, including access to treatments, therapies, and assistive devices that can enhance her quality of life. Your contributions will enable her to make necessary adjustments to her home environment, ensuring her safety and comfort as her condition progresses. They will also help to cover travel costs to and from Hershey ALS Centers.
Please show Susan the love you have in your heart. She is in a position that is not good for her health, stress will bring on her symptoms faster than we want them to happen.
I hope that this GoFundMe will help ease her stress and burden of worrying about the costs involved in prolonging her life. She is only in her 40's, and still a newlywed. It truly is a devastating illness, prayers are also accepted. Thank you from the bottom of my family’s heart.
