Hello, my name is Kurt and I’m Stacy’s husband. Unfortunately Stacy has been diagnosed with a kidney neoplasm which is a renal cell carcinoma. As a result, she will be having surgery to remove her kidney. On top of that, she has also been diagnosed with a soft tissue sarcoma. The latter will require radiation, surgery & chemotherapy. She’s got a long road ahead of her. We are both broken over this information the last two months. We are both very proud people and this is hard for us to do, and even with insurance, the copays, and such will present us both with a major challenge. Stacy will be going on long term disability to be able to complete any treatment that is necessary. That too will cause a hardship for us as well.
