Help Ease Sharon's Medical Financial Burden From Stroke
Donation protected
Hi Everyone, my name is Ashley for those who don't personally know me and I am attempting to raise funds to cover the initial medical cost and recovery for my Grandma who recently had a stroke.
On 6/24/24 my Grandma (Sharon) had a ischemic stroke (we were later told). After having loss all feelings in her arm she took an ambulance to Mary Rutan Hospital (Bellefontaine, OH) where her stroke became diagnosed and because it was developing as an acute stroke (progressing worse) she was to be rushed to OSU Hospital (Columbus, OH) where she currently (6/25) is.
We do not know how long she will need to remain at the hospital nor do we know what her recovery will look like or any of the associated final costs. We are setting a goal of 30k based upon estimates and will update as need be, etc.
We do know however that the costs will be extensive initially between the multiple ambulance rides, on site medical testing and stay. She was an independent business owner and as many of us know it can be hard enough to live as a small business owner let alone prepare for curve ball after curve ball. Her husband is an insulin diabetic w/ cancer so needless to say the rainy day fund has run dry.
I would greatly appreciate your help in easing her financial burden that has been thrusted upon her. Even just skipping a morning coffee and sending your $7 here vs Starbucks will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for sticking with me to read all this and I will provide updates as we have them.
