Update on Dad's Recovery - May 30, 2024

Dear Supporters,

I hope this message finds you well. Last night brought both hope and concern as we received updates on Dad's condition. Initially, we were informed that most doctors were considering discharging him, which was a positive sign. However, one doctor raised concerns about his elevated white blood count, prompting us to decide to keep him in the hospital for another day.

Unfortunately, this morning brought a new challenge as Dad underwent a second surgery to remove more infected skin from his leg. It's been a tough road, but I'm relieved to share that Dad is currently stable and receiving pain medication to manage his discomfort.
