We all have times in our lives when something unexpected happens. Unfortunately now is that time for my sister. She has had numerous ear infections the last 3 years and has recently been diagnosed with Cholesteamtoma. It is an erosion of bone in the middle ear that can cause deafness, brain abscess as well as meningitis. The surgery is called Tympanomastoidectomy and is now set for November 21, 2019. She does have health insurance however she still has a very high decuctible of 5,500, not to mention her recovery time is two weeks, so that time off of work will not be paid either. The news of this surgery has been devastating for my sister and my family, because there are no other options. My family and I have come up with this idea to help my sister in her time of need. Please keep in mind that any amount given will move us closer to our goal, and will mean the world to all of us.
