I got pneumonia on NYE this year and am now nearly $8000 in medical debt. Yes this is after insurance, yes I have already called and talked with a rep about it the best course of action is the go on the payment plan for it.

I am currently trying to find additional employment (I already teach preschool music, work retail, and DJ at night) but we all know that the current job market is rough. So in the mean time this is my only course of action to get started in tackling this debt. I don’t expect to pay all of it off via go fund me, but if I can at least put a dent in it so that the monthly

payments are more manageable I know I can do this.

I have never been in debt like this. Its terrifying. I am also deeply ashamed to be asking for help in this manner… I truly wish I didn't have to. But, I’m swallowing my pride here so that I can stay afloat.
