I’m reaching out to dear friends and family during one of the most scary times in my life. I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. After 2 brutal cycles of chemotherapy I am preparing to undergo a 3-week inpatient treatment program in Mexico that offers a specialized, holistic approach to care and healing.

This treatment is an important step in my fight, but it comes with significant financial challenges. Since I’ve used all my paid leave, I’ll have no income during the 3 weeks of treatment. I'll fly into San Diego and be transported to the treatment facility in Baja California. Plane tickets this time of year at this late notice were $835.

People have asked for tangible ways to help. Easing the financial burden would be a HUGE help and allow me to focus on healing. If you feel led to give, any amount would help make up for lost wages that cover my living expenses and travel costs.

I would be so grateful for your prayers. Feel free to you add me, my care team, and my girls to your prayer chains; that would be greatly appreciated. It will be difficult to be away from my two daughters, Clarissa and Averlee. We’ve never been apart so long and the separation will be one of the hardest parts of this journey.
