Help Ease Merity's Journey Without Steve

Almost 8 years ago Steve received the gift of life in the form of a double lung transplant. Every day of those nearly 8 years Steve fought to live.

While Steve's body faced the rejection of his gifted lungs, Steve's heart and soul were focused on his family.

He worked hard to provide for his wife and kids, he lived hard to serve and bless the lives of his friends and family, and he loved hard, doing all he could to make lasting memories with his family.

As his body weakened, Steve's spirit remained strong. He was positive and grateful until the very end.

Steve's only desire was to make sure that his best friend and angel of a wife Merity was provided for, and he was still working up until just days before he took his last breaths.

One of the best ways we can honor Steve is to continue to make sure Merity is cared for and provided for.

While Merity learns to navigate life without her Steve, let's do all we can to ease her financial burdens. Steve and Merity have done and would do the same for any one of us.
