Hello friends and family. I'm reaching out to you with a heavy heart but hopeful spirit as we navigate a challenging time in our lives. My mom, Maya, has been treated for Breast Cancer over the last few months. She has had two life alternating surgeries then 20 rounds of radiation. She has returned to working as a nurse however, it is a struggle for her to go to work while battling with increased fatigue and pain from the radiation but somehow she manages to get the strength to provide for her family. Maya has always been the rock of our family and her diagnosis has come as a shock to all of us, but we are determined to fight this together with her. As many of you know, medical expenses can accumulate quickly for specialized treatment.
