Help Ease Krystaline's Burden After Loss
Donation protected
Hello my name is Kenya Vining Thomas. I have worked with Krystaline James for nearly 7 years. During her pregnancy Krystaline developed preeclampsia and had to deliver her baby boy Jordan at 28 weeks gestation. Jordan weighed 1 lb 9 oz at birth at Piedmont Hospital. Baby Jordan was air flighted to Chilren’s Health Care of Atlanta as it was discovered he had a hole in his heart, which required two separate open heart surgeries within the first few months of his life. He was sent home in mid April with a feeding tube and oxygen. We all knew he had a long road ahead of him. However, we also knew that he was a fighter as he had overcome so much between December and April.
It is with a heavy heart that I inform you Jordan passed away Sunday morning, April 28th at his home with his family. My heart literally aches for this sweet family and all the difficult days ahead of them. Krystaline is currently on leave of absence without pay. As you can imagine having to stay in Atlanta for 4 1/2 months caring for your child while having two other children (12 and 14) you’re having to raise has been extremely exhausting, financially as well as mentally for Krystaline and Brian.
Krystaline and Bryan would like to give their son a proper burial. We as community are trying to raise funds to help with the burial fees for Jordan, as well as loss of income and other expenses they have incurred while traveling back-and-forth to Atlanta. if you feel led to donate please do. If you are unable to donate please pray for this sweet family and for God to wrap his arms around them as only he can and comfort them during this time.
Thank you!
