Hello!

My name is Bethany and I am raising funds for my friend & colleague Kathryn East.

Kathryn has a daughter named Whitney, a beautiful young lady in her early 20's. Whitney has been in & out of Rehab in California, with some highs & lows. And she had (we thought) recently turned the corner - being released into a halfway house, getting a job, & re-attending church.

Unfortunately, she overdosed over Mother's Day weekend and has been on life support with no signs of ever recovering. Whitney had made the choice a while back to be an Organ Donor, so she is very soon about to give 8 gifts to 8 blessed recipients to allow them a better quality of life.

This has been a heartbreaking, gut-wrenching, & soul-crushing experience for Kathryn as it is her only child. It has also been an incredible financial strain, as well.

With her awareness, yet not at her request, we are setting up a GoFundMe to offset as much of these expenses over the past few months to bring some sense of normalcy to our friend Kathryn.
