During the past couple of years, John O'Donnell has suffered a steep decline in health. During this time, he has suffered from multiple seizures, strokes, and cancers. Throughout it all, John has maintained his kind and loving personality. And yet, despite an incredible fight on his part, his body has reached its limit. The end is nearing, and according to John's medical professionals, it is a matter of when, not if.

John will be free of the pain he has been suffering very soon. For that, we can all be grateful. However, the reality of bereavement and the mounting costs are causing even greater strain on his family, friends, and caregivers. Many of whom are dealing with the costs of their own medical issues and do not have funds to spare.
