Help Ease Herron Family's Sudden Loss

Hello, my name is Skylar Herron I lost my father on the day after Memorial Day. His passing was unexpected and has been a total shock for my family. I’m currently raising money to properly lay my father to rest and to help support my family as we navigate through this time of grief.

My father bravely served almost 22 years in the Navy. He served on the Safeguard, on the USS Forrestal, USS Barbour County, USS Reeves, and the USS George Washington. He and my mother were married for 41 years and he leaves behind three daughters, two grandchildren, and two brothers. We will all miss him so much.

As we wait for my father’s social security survivor benefits to be sorted out, funds raised here will help cover my mother’s healthcare needs, food, rent, and utilities. My family and I are so grateful for any help and are so thankful for you taking the time to read this post.
