I'm doing this fundraiser for my 23 yr old daughter, because she is a single mom and she is on a waiting list for a kidney transplant. The goal is to help her reach her goal of $3k to get her on the transplant list. The $3k covers her monthly bills since she will be out for 2 months after the surgery. The hospital requires this to ensure she will not be losing housing or be behind financially due to the surgery since she will be out of work during that time. The rest of the cost is to help her with medical bills for her PD dialysis treatments, medicine and doctors visits. She is currently working full time and also has to take care of her 2 year old son.
