Help Us Get A HeadStone For Our Dad

Donation protected

Update July 1st 2025
dad is now on liquid morphine every hour now. All the funds will go directly to my mom to help with funeral cost, burial and other things she needs to help lay my dad to rest when that day comes.

Update June 27th 2025.
Mom went to the bank to talk to someone about getting a loan. Unfortunately with the heavy rain that we had it caused the basement wall to cave in 2 weeks ago and then bank won’t let her take a loan out until the Insurance comes out and fixes it. Mom is worried and stressed she won’t be able to do anything for dad when the time comes until that wall gets fixed. Any donation is much appreciated. Thank you

Hi, my name is Morgan Reynolds, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. My dad is currently in the final stages of stage 4 liver cancer, which has spread to his stomach and colon. Watching him fight this battle has been the hardest thing I’ve ever experienced. He’s tired. He’s in pain even though he tells us he’s not. And while we don’t know the exact day, we know the time is coming soon.

My mom has been by his side every step of the way. She barely leaves the house, afraid to miss even a moment with him. She’s been his rock, his caretaker, and his quiet strength — all while carrying the weight of what’s ahead.

What she hasn’t been able to do is prepare financially for what comes next.

That’s why I’ve created this fundraiser — without her knowing — because I know she would never ask for help herself. But she needs it. When the time comes, I don’t want her worrying about funeral costs, burial arrangements, or how she’s going to make it through the next few months. She deserves to grieve without that weight on her shoulders.

If you’ve ever met my dad, you know he’s a good man. He’s spent his whole life working hard to provide for our family. He’s worked for Bowman’s Construction and Hayes Brothers. He’s built many places around Kokomo and even Marion. He would always write in the concrete their initials. If you know my dad, you would know he’s hardworking. Quiet. Funny in his own dry way. He loved showing up to our games, teaching us how to build things, and was always there when it mattered most. He and my mom have given so much. Now, I’m just trying to give something back.

Anything you can give — no matter how small — will go toward easing this burden for her. Even if you can’t donate, sharing this means the world.

Thank you for reading. And thank you for caring.
Added* All funds will directly go to my mom.

With love,
Morgan
