In Loving Memory of Maria Bertila Dieguez Flores

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved aunt, Maria Bertila Dieguez Flores, on August 5th, 2025. Our family is grieving the loss of someone who was the heart and soul of our lives—a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and dear friend to so many.

Maria was a hardworking woman who owned a small business and dedicated her life to providing for her family. She was a guiding light in the Latino church community, always offering love, support, and encouragement to anyone in need. Her kindness touched everyone she met, and she was deeply loved by her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and so many others whose lives she helped shape.

Her sudden passing has left our family heartbroken, especially her husband, Walter Dieguez, children, and all who knew and loved her.

We are asking for your help to ease the financial burden of funeral expenses and to support the family during this difficult time. Any contribution—no matter the size—will make a meaningful difference and help us honor Maria’s beautiful life and legacy.

En Memoria de María Bertila Dieguez Flores

Con gran dolor en el corazón, compartimos el fallecimiento de nuestra querida tía, María Bertila Flores, el pasado 5 de agosto de 2025. Nuestra familia está atravesando un momento muy difícil tras la pérdida de alguien que fue el alma y corazón de nuestras vidas: una esposa dedicada, madre amorosa, hermana, abuela, tía y amiga entrañable para muchos.

María fue una mujer trabajadora, dueña de un pequeño negocio, que dedicó su vida a sacar adelante a su familia. También fue un pilar importante en la comunidad latina de la iglesia, siempre dispuesta a tender una mano amiga y brindar apoyo a quien lo necesitara. Su bondad y generosidad tocaron muchas vidas, y fue profundamente amada por sus hijos, nietos, sobrinos y por todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla.

Su partida repentina ha dejado un gran vacío, especialmente para su esposo, Walter Dieguez , sus hijos y todos los que la amaban.

Estamos organizando esta colecta para ayudar a cubrir los gastos funerarios y apoyar a la familia durante este momento tan difícil. Cualquier aportación, por pequeña que sea, será de gran ayuda y nos permitirá honrar la vida y el legado de María.
