We've tried to keep the CaringBridge page updated with Dad's medical journey (see link above). Unfortunately, his cancer journey started in 2015, and before that, he was trying to manage his diabetes, kidneys, and heart issues.

Mom and Dad have done an amazing job of staying strong, positive, and united in their unwavering and unconditional love. Among all the hurdles life has thrown them, their love for each other remains forever constant.

We have created this GoFundMe to help them financially as they have been on this medical rollercoaster for about 20 years. Due to his medical conditions, more specifically his battles with cancer, Dad has been unable to work for the last few years. Mom is forever by Dad's side, so while he battles cancer, she is right there fighting with him—which means time off work. Unfortunately, this creates another stress—financial stress. Mom is the best medicine for Dad, so our family does absolutely everything we can to help ease the financial burden. We've been absolutely overwhelmed with the number of people that have reached out to us and asked how they can help Mom and Dad while they navigate this cancer journey (again) ! So, we thought we would create this fund to give anyone who would like to help an avenue to do so.

We also know how powerful the gifts of prayer, faith, love, positivity, and hope are—and we thank everyone who continues to keep our family in their thoughts. It truly means so much to receive your messages! Words cannot describe how blessed we are to have you all in our lives!
