Recent times have been very difficult. Since having been diagnosed with Evans Syndrome, the weekly hospital visits to check my blood levels, and debilitating effects of the treatments, it feels like the hospital has a rotating door installed just for me. And though my insurance has covered most of my visits, medications, and hospital stays, there is that old saying: "Bills don't care about your feelings."

While my family is doing everything they can to take care of me and get me to my appointments, rent bills and other things back at home with my wife have taken a toll on her, as she's had to take on extra hours at work and is currently seeking a second job to help pay for rent, food, and bills.

While I personally don't like asking for handouts or personal favors, because of my recent layoff and inability to go to work, and all the cuts being done to various government assistance programs, leading them and other disability assistance programs to come to a near standstill, I find that we are quickly running out of options.

To sum things up: the purpose of this GoFundMe campaign is to help pay for bills, rent, travel expenses to and from appointments with my doctors, medical equipment and uncovered medicines and supplements, and food until my disability benefits are finally approved.
