Help Ease Financial Strain for Cancer Warrior

Dear Friends and Family, I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart to share some news about my beloved mother. As some of you may already know, she was diagnosed with Carcinoma Sarcoma back in 2020. After a valiant battle, she enjoyed a period of remission for two years before a recurrence of the cancer occurred in 2023. Since then, my mother has undergone grueling treatments, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy, to combat the cancer. Unfortunately, her health took a turn for the worse recently when she was rushed to the emergency room and admitted to the hospital for treatment of a Saddle Pulmonary Embolism. This unexpected setback has added another layer of challenges to her already difficult journey. As a special education teacher assistant in the NHCS public school system, my mother's work sustains her financially, but due to her ongoing health battles, she will be unable to work over the summer. This loss of income, combined with the mounting medical expenses, has placed a significant strain on her finances. Despite her unwavering strength and determination, the physical toll of her condition makes standing on hard surfaces for long periods, driving, and even simple daily tasks exhausting for her. Typically, she takes up two to three part-time jobs each summer to make ends meet, but this year marks the first time in years that she is unable to do so. To help alleviate some of the financial burden and ensure that my mother can focus on her health and recovery without the added stress of financial worries, I am starting this GoFundMe campaign. The funds raised will go towards covering her monthly bills, medical expenses, cancer medications, and doctor visits during her treatment.
