First of all to family and friends I'm sorry if this is the first time your hearing about my dad. (It's been a long week) . It started with phenomnia in his only lung as he is still going through treatment for lung cancer. We called an ambulance last Saturday and they sent him home a day later stating his fever and brain fog was a complication of phenomnia. After more 911 calls throughout the week they finally did a head scan and found a brain bleed. As we were being told about this he went into an active stroke and needed airlifted to OHSU. my mom got to Portland Saturday morning and as of now, unsure how long she will need to be there. Im doing this for her as I know the financial burden she will face with the extended hotel and the airlift expenses. Update this morning: his bleeding got progressively worse last night and is going into surgery now to stop the brain bleed. If you know my mom, she's an absolute wreck and wouldn't want to ask for help, but I see the stress and defeat in her. I promise to keep you all updated after his surgery today. "God i need a favor".
