Help Robin Heal After Life-Threatening Spinal Surgery
Hello friends. Our family is asking for support for someone who would never ask for it herself.
Robin recently underwent a major reconstructive back surgery due to severe degenerative disc disease, making it her eighth spinal surgery. During this procedure, all of the existing hardware in her spine had to be removed and replaced. What was already a complex and risky surgery quickly turned into a long and difficult fight for her life.
Since the operation, Robin has faced serious complications, including multiple blood transfusions, two weeks-long hospital stays, and sepsis. She has endured two additional surgeries to drain sepsis infections in her back and is now facing a lifelong course of antibiotics. Her immune system is severely weakened, and her recovery has been far more challenging than anyone expected.
Because of her condition, Robin is no longer able to return to work, and the medical bills keep piling up. As you all know, my mom came out of retirement after a year and got a full time job so they were able to have healthcare. She has always worked so hard, and this help would be a great relief to her.
Robin and my mom are the kind of people who show up for others without hesitation. They give whenever they can, support those in need, and never ask for help themselves. That’s what makes this so hard for them, and why I’m doing it on their behalf. They deserve it now more than ever.
We are asking for any support you can give, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this page. Every contribution will go directly toward medical bills, ongoing treatment, and helping ease the financial stress so Robin can focus on healing.
Thank you for helping us support two people in their time of need. ❤️
