Help Collin Lambert in his medical journey
Donation protected
As many of you may know, in March Collin was impacted with an unknown medical condition that totally tapped his strength and dropped his blood counts dramatically. After 6 weeks of investigation and testing, doctors officially diagnosed Collin with Aplastic Anemia. Aplastic Anemia in simplest terms is a disease that suppresses the production of the key cells in the blood – white blood cells, platelets and hemoglobin. There is not a cure for this disease, only hope of remission at some point. In the meantime, Collin’s physical activity is extremely limited, and he is susceptible to both infections and bleeds. What many might not know is that the Lamberts began this journey the day after Patti had just left employment. God knew that Collin would need weeks of attention and care during this new experience and Patti has been able to be there. That said, they have been living on one salary since this whole thing began. Many of you have been asking how you can help. I thought this might be one way. Though the Lamberts have good medical insurance, the bills have already begun to pile up with two extended hospital stays and lots of new medications and treatments. If you feel led to assist the Lamberts with medical expenses and/or living expenses during these challenging times, I know it would be much appreciated.
If you know Collin and Patti you know that their heart is always to serve and to give to others. Collin and Patti have REALLY struggled with my suggestion to start this GoFundMe and I know that it is because they are used to being the ones that HELP, not the ones that RECEIVE, but I (politely) wore them down because I know that healthcare costs get out of control really fast and the burden on one family is too great a to carry alone, but if we all work together we can spread the weight out across a lot of shoulders so it isn't so crushing! I also know that if you are like me, you want to bless Collin and Patti during this time in a real and practical way. Even small amounts add up to be helpful so don't be shy about sharing $5 or $10! Collin and Patti are trusting in the Lord to provide for their needs but maybe God is putting it on your heart to be a blessing to them during this time.
