Help Ease Burden On My Parents - Hip Surgery

Yesterday, my dad was selling seafood as he does everyday. While retrieving a product on the back of his truck for a customer, he fell very hard. He caught himself with his weak (left) side, and broke his left shoulder and his left hip socket. He will be finding out today whether he gets surgery today or in the near future.

No matter the outcome, this is going to be a hard and long recovery. We are trying to remain positive, but there is a high chance his business will not survive. This is my parents’ livelihood. My dad puts his heart and soul into Suncoast Gold Shrimp Co.

He is in good spirits as always and being tough when it comes to his physical pain, but I know the uncertainty of his business is crushing him. I can’t prevent it from breaking his heart, but I do want to cushion the blow of the financial burden this will place on my parents. They are two of the kindest, most selfless people in the world, and I humbly ask that you donate anything you can. They shouldn’t have to worry about anything except recovery.

They don’t like to accept help from anyone, so my sister and I are requesting help on their behalf. Every penny will go toward monthly expenses, food, mortgage, essential needs, etc.
