Help My Dad Brett Through End of Life
On May 6th, we received the awful news that our dad, Brett, has terminal metastatic stage 4 cancer. The team of doctors did not suggest treatment but encouraged comfort for end of life. With our family so spread out across the world, my sister Autumn made the selfless choice to offer to care for him. (Thank you, Autumn, we love you so much)
While we have been blessed with an absolute outpouring of love and emotional support from all of our friends and family, (We thank everyone for that as well), the unexpected expenses are unfortunately more than we can handle at this time as a family. While we don't like asking for help, we would greatly appreciate any support that our friends and family could give.
It is my hope that through this we can make sure our dad Brett can spend his remaining days in relative comfort with his daughter and grandchildren without financial concerns for funeral expenses and unexpected medical costs.
Our Dad has a legacy of two daughters, five grandchildren and a multitude of people in various communities who have had the pleasure of experiencing the wonder of his humor, kindness, wit and adventurous spirit. Our family will forever be grateful to his friends, our friends, and the hospice team.
Thank you for your support.
