Help ease Billie Jo & Ethan's unexpected move and new start.

My name is Billie Jo and my son's name is Ethan. We are moving from Ohio to Florida. I would never do something like this, but there's a lot going on for everyone all at once. We have an amazing family and support system, so let me explain a little of our story.

My dad just paid for my transmission to be fixed in my car; definitely can't be without a car for the move. Cost over $1200. My mom and step-dad are in the process of selling a house and buying a new one so they can live closer to us. Our move is just 2 weeks before theirs, and they are hauling the U-Haul down for me and returning back to do it all over again for themselves. The reason for our move is a relationship separation which ended on good terms, but he ironically is the one buying my mom's house! So his ability to help is all tied up in that process till it's all completed.

With all of this going on, I am also having surgery July 3rd to have my thyroid removed due to nodules. One is benign and the other is 50/50 cancerous. Best option is to have it removed, but that means medication I'll need and I have to get insurance for down there worked out and started.

UPDATE: Surgery went well, no complications. Resting to heal before the move.

It's honestly just a lot all at one time for everyone. I don't want to take from anyone that is struggling themselves, but if someone has that little extra, it would be greatly appreciated. The money will go for the U-Haul, gas, vehicle transfer, medications, and items needed to get going, such as school clothes as Ethan will be starting Kindergarten a month after we get there!!!
