Hello Friends!!

Mackcut Mama Gladys and I, together with our friends Dominic and Cynthia of DLA Films, have decided to join forces and organize a community fundraiser to raise money for people and communities on the ground who are still dealing with the aftermath of last month’s devastating earthquake in Colombia. The fundraiser includes a very special event that will take place at DLA’s epic space in Williamsburg.

All funds raised will go to the Global Giving Colombia Earthquake Relief Fund, which supports local organizations providing emergency response, medical care, temporary shelter, food, and clean drinking water. Funds will also support longer-term recovery, including rebuilding damaged infrastructure and providing local community leaders with flexible resources to help their communities recover and become more resilient.

We look forward to seeing you  Wednesday, September 9th for an evening of art, music, and community.  We’ll be selling T-shirts alongside Gladys’s famous guac and salsa, with **100% of those proceeds going toward earthquake relief**.

We’d love for you to join us, spread the word, and help us support survivors and communities as they begin the long road to recovery.

If you can’t make it to the event, you can still support the fundraiser by donating here. Donations of any amount are welcome, and donations made online qualify for the rewards below as well:

T-Shirt — $50

Gladys’s World-Famous Guacamole — $25

Gladys’s Superior Salsa — $25

Every contribution, big or small, helps. Thank you for joining us in supporting survivors and helping communities rebuild after this tragedy.
