My name is Ronald D Davis, and I have family and personal ties to Malbago, Bogo, and Daanbantayan, Cebu, Philippines. Just days ago, a devastating 6.9 earthquake struck northern Cebu, leaving families without power, clean water, or safe shelter.
Some family and friends are now sleeping outside due to continued aftershocks and unsafe homes. Relief has been slow to reach their barangays, and water is already running low.
⚡ What your donation provides:
• $10 (₱582) = water for a family for several days
• $25 (₱1,455) = a food pack (rice, canned goods, noodles)
• $50 (₱2,910) = tarp + tools for urgent shelter repairs
• $100 (₱5,820) = medicine, flashlights, batteries + water
Your help today will bring urgent relief directly to families in Malbago, Bogo, and Daanbantayan.
Just days before this earthquake, the Philippines was already reeling from back-to-back typhoons that killed more than 20 people. Now, with a 6.9 quake centered near Bogo City, families in northern Cebu are facing crisis upon crisis.
last count there have been 72 lost souls

Our Goal-
Our initial goal was $5,500 but due to an outpouring of generosity, we reached that goal and are now (10/27/2025) expanding it to $9,500 to provide more urgent Tarps, water, food, and additional shelter supplies for families in Malbago, Bogo, and Daanbantayan. As relief needs continue, we may raise this goal to help more families.
•. Transparency & Updates
Transparency matters. I want donors to know that every dollar will go directly to relief. Because I am based in Minneapolis, I rely on family and trusted friends in Malbago, Bogo, and Daanbantayan to help identify needs, purchase supplies locally, and share back updates whenever possible.
Due to power and signal outages, it may not always be possible to provide frequent or perfectly detailed reports. I will post updates here as often as possible, including photos or short messages from family and community contacts to show how funds are being used. Sample receipts or acknowledgments will be shared whenever available. My commitment is honesty and urgency-getting aid to families first, then sharing proof as conditions allow.
Closing Appeal
Please stand with us. Your generosity today will bring water, food, Tarps damaged home repairs, and safety to people who have lost so much overnight — and help a community I care for begin to rebuild…
