These heart-wrenching words are from one of my brother's (Mariano Amezcua) former employees, Earnest Perry, whose house and life have been devastated by Hurricane Helene. My name is Norma Amezcua, and I live in San Diego, CA. When my brother shared Earnest's story with me, I felt compelled to help in a tangible way by setting up a GoFundMe page.

Our goal is to raise funds to help them rebuild their home. They are currently living with an adult child. The funds raised will help them find a new home and address their immediate basic needs.
