This is a fundraising campaign for Curci's Cat, Earl "Bubba" Wilson, a former University of Kentucky Wildcat Defensive Tackle- #78!
"Bubba" played football @ UK from 1977-1981. Earl played pro in the CFL in Canada from 1981-1984 and won the Gray Cup in 1983. From there he went on to play in the NFL for the San Diego Chargers (#93) from 1985-1988. He has suffered from diabetes and had a serious partial foot amputation - vertical from toe up to heel and is incapacitated and unable to work his landscaping business for a long time now. He has been suffering with an open wound and has a wound vac for many, many months while trying to heal. He needs to under go more surgeries and a skin graft that we are praying will take and can help save his foot. He just received the go ahead from his cardiologist, lung specialist & pain management team to proceed with the plastic surgeon for the skin graft. They are scheduling the skin graft surgery in the next couple weeks, this month, August 2018. The funds we raise will help Earl with his impending surgery, long recovery, and living expenses in the weeks and months to come.
In addition, sadly, Earl lost his father, his 32 year old son, and his sister all in a matter of a few months of each other. He has suffered great lost and now trying with everything that is in his power to save his foot from complete amputation. We can help! Will you help?
