Help Eamon Kerrigan Beat Cancer

Donation protected
In late January, Eamon was unfortunately diagnosed with Stage IV melanoma. Numerous testing by Oncologists at Dana Farber had begun. It was during one of the many tests that were performed, that they found some abnormalities in his brain; Doctors realized he has the onset of multiple sclerosis. Eamon’s reaction was “Good News – the abnormalities were not cancer”. This discovery made Eamon’s case “complex” and required the doctors to consider alternate treatment as traditional methods might bring out the MS. A decision was made to move forward with the use of immune therapy, and take the risk. Therapy was started however, Eamon received another setback as scans showed that the tumor on his shoulder was showing significant growth and had spread to his liver, lungs, ribs, hips and back. The immunotherapy wasn’t working, and this treatment was stopped. In June the doctors decided to go with conventional therapy and started him on a 15 pill a day regimen. Eamon had a Dr. appointment in late July, and it seems the treatments have been working!
Anyone who knows Eamon knows him as a person who is independent, caring, and would never ask for help. I have personally known Eamon Kerrigan for many years through working with and for him at National Grid. Eamon has worked in many different disciplines at NG over the years and is often sought out for his wisdom and advice as a Subject Matter Expert in Engineering, Standards, Project Management, and Construction. Eamon is the first to ask what he can do to help both at work and at home with friends and family.
Eamon’s positive attitude, strong work ethic, and love of his family is amazing. However, as you can imagine, Eamon’s medical bills and other expenses incurred due to his diagnosis have been piling up. This single father needs our help (as he has helped so many)! Please donate what you can and spread the word!!
