I'm sorry to sway you with a photo of my cute dog, but this fundraiser is actually for me — E. After a really hard few months of grief, health issues, and general poor luck, my 19-year-old accessible wheelchair van also reached the end of it's life. An accessible vehicle is quite literally my way of navigating an otherwise inaccessible world. I use it to get to the doctor, take my dog everywhere, get to work events, coffee shops — and being someone who still takes covid precautions, I've eaten many takeout meals in my old Dodge Caravan. It's my lifeline. Without an accessible way to get around, I'll be pretty much stuck at home.

Now, I'm looking to fundraise a down payment on a new car that'll hopefully last me the next decade or two. All donations will go directly to a down payment, making it possible to keep me on the road safely. I don't love putting myself out there and being this vulnerable, but my friends have bullied me enough that I think it's time to let you all help. Anything is so appreciated!
