Dymitri is an energetic 8-year-old boy who loves playing outside and riding his bike. Recently, he was diagnosed with a rare condition called ITP, which causes his platelets to drop dangerously low. This means even simple activities can lead to spontaneous bleeds and bruising, making everyday life risky for him.

Doctors have prescribed a special schedule 3 medication to help keep Dymitri safe, but it comes at a very high cost. Insurance only covers part of the medication, and we've exhausted all copay assistance programs. Our family is struggling to afford the medication Dymitri still needs to stay healthy. Without it, he can't enjoy the simple joys of childhood, like going down a slide or riding his bike, without fear of injury.
