We are raising funds for Dyllan Williams, a kind and bright young man who previously attended Madison Junior High School. During what should have been a fun and carefree summer break, Dyllan suddenly became very ill—running a high fever for days. His mother, Lakisha, tried everything, over-the-counter medicine, home remedies, and sleepless nights filled with worry.

When nothing seemed to work, she rushed Dyllan to the emergency room. After a long and emotional wait, doctors delivered devastating news, Dyllan was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

Lakisha was heartbroken. She cried and prayed, overwhelmed with disbelief. But amidst her sorrow, a compassionate nurse comforted her and gently reminded her that Dyllan still has a fighting chance—and that he needed her strength now more than ever. Lakisha wiped her tears, gathered her courage, and stood tall for her son, holding onto her faith that God will cover and carry them through.

Since the diagnosis, Dyllan has undergone five surgeries, receives chemotherapy treatments every other week, and must have regular blood work. The treatments are grueling and the emotional toll is immense.

Lakisha made the difficult decision to leave her job so she could care for her son full-time and be by his side through every step of this journey. As you can imagine, this has placed a significant financial burden on the family.
