Little Dylan needs his tonsils & adenoids out right away. Dylan is going into 2nd grade next year. His surgery is scheduled for next week on July 24, next Wednesday. Dylan's tonsils & adenoids have grow to the point there impeding his breathing. when Dylan sleeps at  night he has to bend  his head  way back in a very abnormal way to breath( I noticed that this was rather odd but i wasn't sure what was going on).  Also i noticed he gets short of breath when he plays and needs to slow down and take a break. When he cry's he says he can't breath well.

Last month the doctor let his mom, Mandy, know he had to have both tonsils and adenoids  removed. The doctor said he probably has sleep apnea that's being induced by the condition. He gets sick a lot and has a lot of trouble with his lungs. He has to get them removed really soon so they scheduled the removal for this month, next week in fact.

Dylan will need to be in the hospital 1-2 days depending on who large they are. I going to fly there and take care the kids  of my granddaughter while there getting it done. It's expensive to fly and car rental is high this time of year.  I would like to cheer him up with something to keep his sprites high while he heals up,  maybe new bedding, a toy and a bunch of rental movies!?

I'm not sure how he will do he has ADHD and some fear issues.  I do know it will be tough for him, he's really not old enough nor mature enough to understand whats going on. I'm scared for him and my heart is breaking. I'm quite sure people are reading this and think he will be find, but it's not a usual case of tonsils and adenoid removal there is more risk.

In addition there is a added medical financial burden on Dylan family, this is what worries me also.  The hospital will require out of pocket money the day of surgery. 

Dylan's  mom,  Mandy, will need to take time off to be with him and that will even put their family in more of a financial hardship!  I know they will need to pay out of pocket expenses for the surgery and other related expenses. Dylan's parents  won't ask for help so i'm going to ask for help for them.

UPDATE 7-17-2019 on Dylan...
We have a serious situation because his dad just changed jobs last week. INSURANCE MAY COVER SOME BUT NOT ALL EXPENSES!!! Today Pat my son got from the hospital telling him they will need $900.00  up front (out of pocket)  for the surgery and possible more cost going forward. This is an extremely important surgery for Dylan and i'm  praying  for help with paying for the surgery.  I'm hoping family, friends and kind people might  help even if its a few dollars.
