As most of our friends and family are aware, Dylan is about to embark on an exciting new chapter in his life. After years of commitment, dedication and hard work, not only is he graduating Magna Cum Laude from Florida State University this May, he has also accepted a position in the financial district of New York City, starting in early September. While these accomplishments are truly impressive, they also come with the challenges of moving across the country and living on his own for the first time, far from family and friends.

Dylan will likely be moving to an area within commuting distance of New York City, rather than the city itself, but the costs of relocating remain significant. He will need to cover moving expenses, a security deposit, and the costs of setting up utilities in a new apartment. There are also many essentials to purchase, like furniture, appliances, and a more professional wardrobe for his new career. In addition, Dylan would like to make a trip to the area this summer to view apartments and secure a safe, affordable place to live before his job begins. While his employer will provide a relocation stipend, it will only cover a portion of these expenses. On top of that, living expenses in the region are high, and we want to make sure he has a financial safety net as he gets settled. We also hope to help make his first couple flights home to visit family more affordable, so he can stay connected with loved ones.
