Hi everyone,
I'm reaching out on behalf of my brother Dylan Hartzell, who is going through one of the most difficult times of his life — physically, emotionally, and financially.
Not long ago, he underwent a suboccipital craniectomy, a major surgery involving the base of the skull and brain with C1 and C2 laminectomy. While he continues to fight through the recovery process, he is now facing a new and frightening complication — a possible cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leak, which may require additional surgery and extended hospitalization.
He has been forced to go on short-term disability due to the severity of his condition, which has significantly limited his income. At the same time, medical bills from his previous surgery are still piling up, and now he's facing another round of hospital stays, treatments, and potential procedures.
Despite all of this, he’s doing his best to stay strong and focus on healing.
Our parents have been helping as much as they can, but the financial strain is becoming too much for any one family to bear. That’s why we’re humbly asking for support from friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers who may be willing to lend a hand during this incredibly challenging time.
Funds raised will go toward:
- Upcoming hospital stays and another potential surgery
- Ongoing medical treatments and tests
- Medication and follow-up appointments
- Basic living expenses while he is unable to work
No amount is too small, and even if you’re not able to donate, sharing this with your network would mean THE WORLD to us. Thank you so much for reading, and for being part of a support system that gives my brother hope, strength, and a chance to heal.
With gratitude,
The Hartzell/Schriner family
