Hi! This is easily the most embarrassing thing I've ever done and I do improv weekly. But I need help.
Two years ago I bought a car because I thought I was finally financially stable. Wrong! Ever since I got it, it's been a money pit where I have put as much into fixing it as I spent in buying it. Along with insurance and gas, it has been a huge financial burden to the point where I am 2k in credit card debt and am unable to afford desperately needed mental healthcare and dental work.
So this past weekend I made the decision to sell my car and use what I can get to buy a scooter. This would save me so much insurance and gas and in turn help me get my life back in order. Someone at work posted that they were looking to buy a used car. Serendipity! I actually met up with them yesterday in a Whole Foods parking lot to test drive it.
Then yesterday at around 6:45, I was headed up to a Pendulum rehearsal when I heard a super loud bang and slapping noises on my side. A side panel of my car fell off, which then made my tire blowout (or the other way around, idk), which then popped something in my suspension, which then made my hood pop up. Thank god I didn't hit anyone or get hit, but now my car is hugely messed up and I can't drive it. Which wouldn't be a problem, but I work at the Domain and live by campus.
Today I'm going to try to sell what I can of the car. If I can't, I'm going to donate it to KUT and get that sweet sweet tax write off.
Which is where you come in.

Registration is $30.
Insurance is $75.
A good helmet is $75.
Plus tax and all of that nonsense is about $2500, give or take.
