Hi everyone, my name is Kerry and I’m reaching out for help for my 17-year-old brother, Dylan. Last year, Dylan was diagnosed with acute leukemia, and since then, our lives have changed completely. He’s currently in the middle of chemotherapy, taking daily medications like steroids and chemo pills, and undergoing monthly lumbar punctures. Because of his illness, Dylan can’t work, and our family has been stretched to its limits. My mom is a single mother doing everything she can to keep us afloat.
Dylan’s Medicaid was suddenly canceled, even though his treatment is ongoing and absolutely cannot be delayed or stopped. This has put us under a lot of stress, as his care depends on consistent access to his chemo, medications, and regular doctor visits. We’re now trying to raise enough to cover his medications, appointments, lumbar punctures, and basic necessities while we fight to get his insurance reinstated.
Right now, it’s just me and my mom supporting Dylan through this incredibly hard time. Any support—whether it’s a donation, a share, or simply keeping us in your thoughts—means the world to us. Thank you so much for helping us give Dylan the care he needs and for standing by our family during one of the hardest moments of our lives.
