Hello, my name is Cody Benjamin, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my family during an incredibly challenging time. My sister, Becka Faint, and her husband, Chris, and our entire family are facing a situation we never imagined when my sweet nephew, Dylan, was diagnosed with Myeloid Leukemia on February 6, 2025.

Dylan is just over one year old and has Down syndrome—a combination that makes his diagnosis all the more heartbreaking and complex. Today, Dylan is having a chemotherapy port placed and is starting his chemotherapy treatment. He is expected to be in the hospital for over a month at a time as he embarks on this tough journey.

We’re setting up this GoFundMe campaign to help cover the mounting medical expenses stemming from Dylan’s diagnosis and treatment. At this early stage, we don’t have a hard financial goal because the full scope of costs is still emerging. For now, the goal amount is a placeholder and will be updated as we learn more about Dylan’s needs and the associated expenses.

Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward Dylan’s medical bills, hospital stays, treatment costs, and related expenses. We hope that by sharing Dylan’s story, we can gather support from kind-hearted people who believe in giving families a fighting chance during their darkest moments.
