Help Dyan's Family with Funeral Expenses
Y'all see that young lady right there?
Yeah, her name is Supa D.!
Well, that's what I call her anyway
Who am I?
My name is Ryland Junior. His name is #ChristJesus!
And, I am her baby brother.
Dyan Stephens-Brown...
Devoted wife. Passionate mother of three + two. Prophet at her place of worship. Diligent intercessor. Sister. Auntie. Friend to many...
And, tragically, victim of the stage four cancer that developed in her pancreas.
Dyan had been experiencing pain in her midsection for the entire first half of 2024.
Doctor after specialist after test after temporary relief, the cancer went undiagnosed for too long, while it metastasized into an aggressive monster that chemotherapy barely touched.
Dyan's two youngest, my 11yo nephew and 9yo niece, never imagined that their annual summer vacation to Rochester, NY would turn into an extended stay. They've been living away from their Brooklyn home while Dyan fought for her life... with my brother-in-law at her bedside.
Add to all this that she was also the patient advocate for her oldest biological daughter, my 19yo niece Dylan. Dylan's speech and mobility has been hindered since the anoxic brain injury suffered while she was only 7yo. Dyan fought for her daughter's life, managing her care at the treatment center she's been at for almost a decade.
As Dyan's full-time gig was juggling everything I just mentioned above and more, her family did not currently have any insurance coverage, causing all funeral services, burial, and other related expenses to lay heavy on my brother-in-law's shoulder.
While family is rallying around him to help bear the burden, it was suggested to me to begin this campaign on my sister's behalf.
If you know Dyan and appreciate all that she meant to you, won't you consider making a contribution of any amount today?
Again, my name is Ryland Junior. His name is #ChristJesus! And, on behalf of Soney, Dylan, Mikey, Celina, and our beloved Dyan: we say thank you, and may God bless your life.
