My wife has always been strong, but this past year has been incredibly hard on her. She has suffered three strokes and a heart attack, which have left her needing a walker to get around. She’s been in and out of the hospital many times, and just recently, she had three stents put in. We live in a small town with very few resources—there isn’t even a grocery store nearby. Our only vehicle broke down, and we simply don’t have the funds to fix it. Both of us are on disability, and our income is limited.
Without a working truck, it’s nearly impossible for us to get groceries, go to doctor appointments, or get my wife to her rehab sessions. We’ve been relying on rides from others, but it’s not always possible, and missing appointments is affecting her recovery. Fixing our truck would mean everything to us—it would give us back some independence and help my wife get the care she needs.
We appreciate any help that can be given. Thank you so much—it means a lot to us.
